Hens Night Essentials

To ensure you don't forget anything leading up to one of the biggest days of your life, we have prepared a guide for all Brides and Bridesmaids, to make sure you have everything covered for your Hens night!

Please follow our Checklist:

1. Speak with the Bride-to-be and determine what she would like and what she wouldn't like on her Hen's Night.

This is very important and it will determine if you are to have a crazy night on the town, a quiet stylish high tea, a relaxing getaway, cocktail bar, pamper package night, strippers, the casino or an action adventure themed day/night! Your bride to be need to be comfortable on the night and enjoy herself. She doesn't need to feel embarrassed or nervous, it is meant to be fun..with maybe a little friendly fire hehe!

2. Choose a theme. Glitter girls, Fluro Fillies, diamonte darlings, crystal cats!

Make sure a theme is established (If you want one) and start gathering props and accessories!

3. Set a Date. Generally, Hens Nights are at least 2 weeks before the Wedding.

Let your guests know if it is to be a Weekend, day or night event and give them plenty of notice just in case they need to make arrangements for accommodation. Make sure your guests are sent a Save the Date or Invitation at least 2 months prior to the chosen date.

4. Keep Informed. Make sure you guests remain informed about the night.

A great way to do this is set up a Facebook Message or Event Page and include everyone who is attending. This is a great way to be able to share your ideas and get updates fast.

5. Book your venue / event and devise an Itinerary.

After you have received your RSVPs back, make sure you book your venue and/or transportation. If you have organised for your Hens Group to be apart of an organised Hen's Night Event, make sure your guests have made payment in full to the event organiser. If you are having a quiet high tea or partying at home, make sure your hostess/es (Bridal Party) has help organising the snacks, drinks and accessories. It is a team effort.

6. Team Effort.

I will stress this point further. A bridal party needs to come together and work well in order to pull off the best hen's night ever! Make sure each person has a role/task to organise. If you are having pre-drinks or a night at home, have someone organise Decorations and style the room to suit your chosen theme. Another person can be responsible for the props and games. Somebody can make sure food is looked after and another can make sure some drinks are covered. If you only have one person in your Bridal Party, it is always nice to get a helping hand from the Mother's of the Bride and Groom (They will love helping out!)

7. Get some zzzzz'z

With 1 week out from your big night, make sure you get plenty of sleep and debrief the bride on some of the nights event. Its also fun to keep some details a secret!

Enjoy ladies!! If you have any Hen's Night ideas to share, please get in touch we'd love to hear your story.
