Colour Crush: Purple & Gold

Colour Crush: Purple & Gold

Choosing the right colours for your wedding or engagement party can be a difficult task. There are so many combinations to choose from and it can be a little bit overwhelming. To give you some inspiration, here is one of my favourite colour combinations: Purple and Gold!

Some examples for you to draw inspiration from:

envelopes sealed with wax

Stand out from the crowd and make a statement with a beautiful engraved GOLD ACRYLIC invitation. Paired with one of our brown kraft envelopes ( we offer brown kraft envelopes FREE of charge with our engraved invites ) and a wax seal on the back, these invitations will look so beautiful and will be remembered by your guests forever.

purple key

Include a beautifully decorated table with a purple liner at your reception. Decorated with an ornate gold frame and signed mirror, your gold and purple theme will make your wedding favours or lolly buffet stand out and visually appealing. Those gold brass key bottle openers look stunning!

gold table number

Have the colour purple your main feature with splashes of gold. The carefully placed gold features will show class and also draw the eye of all your guests. We are loving the ornate gold frames for signs and table numbers, very gatsby! The only think that the beautiful cake pictured needs is one of our cake toppers! Hehe!

purple glassware

Finally, to complete your purple and gold theme, include some GOLD serving  trays for your glasses. They are not only so very stylish, but also a great feature to have on the bar.
We think our engraved stemless wine glasses would be the perfect choice to fill the gold trays with. Add some gold sugar to the rims of the glasses too ( I mean, why not! ) don't they look yummy!

You can have a lot of fun planning your wedding or engagement party with these two on-trend colours. Let us know what you think? What were your wedding colours? Did you stay safe or did you take a risky colour choice?
